Where to start?  You’re going to be embarking a great pursuit or are already moving along your journey, but what should you be reading first?  The site features many books in the posts but if you haven’t read these yet, start here.

How to Win Friends & Influence People.  Dale Carnegie’s classic shouldn’t be dismissed due to age, but welcomed like you would an old bottle of wine or historic oak table.  When reading this book, don’t think about Carnegie’s specific examples, but try to find the patterns in what he writes about and then apply those to your business.


Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In

This book from the Harvard Negotiation Project will sharpen your skills in all your conversations. The book is full of actions you can take today and not just in your business but in your life as well.
